    Foreclosure Fairness Ordinance Headed to the November Ballot

    On June 4th, Supervisor John Avalos and Assessor-Recorder Phil Ting announced a ballot initiative for the November election to bake banks pay their fair share and keep homeowners in their homes. The Foreclosure Fairness Ordinance will eliminate a transfer tax exemption given to banks and lenders.
